Its all about Influencing the behavior of employees and align with the corporate vision and identity. By engaging and aligning employees to the company brand perhaps is the greatest priority to ensure one business success.

The Sedan Chair Race is an annual Hong Kong charity event in which teams take part in a race carrying a Sedan Chair.

KPMG participate as a serious team along the 2.1km road loop around Mount Kellet on the Peak, carrying the chair and passenger. It is an annual team building event where the employees come together to demonstrate their creativity and team spirit whist proudly representing the company. Each year, the best decorated sedan chair will be awarded apart from the race.

Stone Age

CREATIVITY VS FUNCTIONS

The sedan chair design is wrapped around with a dinosaur’s foam skeleton to shout out the stone age theme, where participants were dressed in ‘Flintstones’ costumes. The total weight and stability of the chair is critical when come to designing it for a race – a race for speed and fun! It has to be light weight without adding burden to the race while still able to secure the passenger through out the race.
